Ricky Cato Round, 60, of Laurel, died Monday, May 15, 2006, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at First United Methodist Church in Laurel, with burial in Lake Park Cemetery. The Rev. Betty Weaver will officiate.
A native of Laurel, he was the son of the late William Cato and May Catching Round. He graduated from R.H. Watkins High School and attended Mississippi State University and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. He was owner and operator of White-Way Cleaners and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Culpepper Round of Laurel; two sons, Justin Round of Laurel and Barrett Round of Wilmington, N.C.; a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie Round Hyatt and Ira Hyatt of Birmingham, Ala.; two nieces, Belinda Hyatt and Carrie Culpepper; two nephews, Jason Hyatt and Brian Hyatt; a brother-in-law and his wife, Ken and Beverly Culpepper of Laurel; and mother-in-law, Mildred Culpepper of Laurel.
Pallbearers will be Tony Thaxton, D.U. Maddox, Bill Carter, Chris Wilson, David Ratcliff, Rodney Cockerham and Clay Johnson.
Visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, at First United Methodist Church in Laurel.
Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel is in charge of arrangements.
