Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Arvene Adams Olsen, 89, of West Jordan, passed away February 21, 2008 of natural causes. Born September 23, 1918 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Silas and VaNetta Boulter Adams. She married Arthur Olsen on June 8, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1962.
She is survived by her children, Gary (Delma) Olsen of Pleasant Grove; Darla (Ross-deceased) Albrecht of West Jordan; Ronald (Peggy) Olsen of Lehi; Glen (Beckey-deceased) Olsen of Sandy; and Lanae (Steve) Pegler of West Valley; brothers and sisters, Dean, Elvis, and VaNetta. Preceded in death by siblings, Glade, Don, Loretta, and Bryce. Proud grandmother of 27 grand-children, 70 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She loved her family, the outdoors, camping, cooking, walking, and reading. She had an incredible lust for life. We will miss you. You will be in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers forever. God be with you, until we meet again.
A viewing will be held Wednesday February 27 in the Goff mortuary, 8090 So. State from 10:30-12 Noon, followed by a graveside service and interment at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, Pleasant Grove, Utah.
