She married Arthur Hardin Howell on 10 Jan 1904 in Hardin County, Tennessee. Her two children both raised their families in Potter County Texas. They were Ezra Vollen Howell (1909-1995) & Vernon Enloe Howell (1912-1983)

Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Hester Berdie Howell, 79, of 2305 S. Roberts were incomplete today at Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home.

Mrs. Howell died at 9 p.m. Tuesday at her home. She was born Dec. 26, 1883, and had been a resident of Amarillo since 1951.

Surviving are her husband, Arthur and two sons, Volon and Vernon Howell, both of Amarillo.

Mrs. Howell was born Dec. 26, 1883, and had been an Amarillo resident since 1951.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur, and two sons, Volon and Vernon Howell, both of Amarillo.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home.

Funeral rites for Mrs. Hester Berdie Howell, 79, of 2305 S. Roberts will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Church of God of Prophecy, with the Rev. J.W. Lowe, pastor, officiating.

The body will be taken to Borger where graveside rites will be conducted at 1 p.m. in the Borger Cemetery under direction of Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home.

Mrs. Howell died at 9 p.m. Tuesday at her home.

Surviving are her husband Arthur, and two sons, Volon and Vernon Howell of Amarillo.
