Officer Albert Kuehner was commissioned as a Turnkey for the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Officer Kuehner was well known through out the Saint Louis Police Department and he unfortunately was predeceased by his son, Officer Edward Kuehner (1886 to 1923), who died as a result of an "On-Duty" motor vehicle accident that was ruled a "Line of Duty" accident.

Officer Kuehner was the first in his family to serve on the police force. The last name of Kuehner still serves on the Saint Louis Police Department many generations later with a great-grandson serving as Lieutenant of Police.

Officer Kuehner of 5016 Maple Avenue, died at the age of 68.

He was also predeceased by his wife Caroline (nee Schumaker) Kuehner (1862 to 1926).

His wake was held at E. J. Schnur Funeral Home located at 3125 Lafayette Avenue.

His internment was at Calvary Cemetery on 01/09/1929.

He was the son of Albert Kuehner. The death certificate list the mother as "Unknown."
