G.H. Wagoner Service at Hext June 5
Final rites for George H. Wagoner, Menard County resident for 56 years, were held at Hext Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Wagoner passed away at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lee Alexander, of Menard.
Born September 4, 1870 in Missouri, he was 85 years old. Mr. Wagoner built the first store and house in Hext.
He married Lucy Emmaline Moore in 1889. She died October of 1941. He was a Mason.
