BRADLEY, George Washington, Bishop of the Moroni Ward, Moroni Stake, Utah, from 1859 to 1868, was born Jan. 15, 1813, in Salem, Washington Co., N.Y., a son of James P. Bradley and Albeah Richmond. He was ordained a Bishop July 14, 1859, by Geo. Albert Smith and died March 8, 1891.

Moroni was founded by George W. Bradley in 1859. That same year Bradley became the bishop of Moroni. He remained such until 1868 when he was succeeded by Lars Svendsen.
