Elijah Tucker was born in Irwin County to the late John and Easter Nobles Tucker.
Married in Berrien County December 17, 1857 to Rebecca Paulk , daughter of Thomas Paulk.

Their family farm was in the Alapaha district of Berrien County.
They both are buried in the Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on the Willacoochee - Ocilla highway.

and Surrendered at Appomattox Ct. House VA in 1865.
He enlisted with Co. D of the 50th GA.
Within his application is proof of marriage to Rebecca Pault on 12/17/1857 in Berrien Co.
and she gives his death date as 3 Jan 1916.
She received $60 pension after his death.
