Daughter of Sam Rhoades & Decoma (Woolverton) Rhoades Walls. Widow of Hector Tilley∼Avis Rhoades Tilley, age 94, of Cleveland, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010. She was born December 9, 1915, in Cleveland, Arkansas, a daughter of Sam Rhoades and Decoma Woolverton Rhoades Walls. She was a retired inspector from Levi Strauss after 29 years, and the widow of Hector Tilley.
Survivors include her sisters, Hester Henley of Morrilton; Imo Jean Wilder of Indianapolis, Indiana; nine nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and nephews; first cousin, Elmas O'Neal; and cousins, Jerry and Ruth O'Neal.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2010, at New Liberty Church of Christ with Mr. Loyd Brents officiating. Burial will be at Lost Corner Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
