A.P. Bailey, well-known Pleasant Grove farmer, was found dead in the back yard of his home this Thursday morning. He was a native of Troup County and had lived here almost all his life. It is supposed that a sudden attack of heart trouble carried him away while engaged in his usual activities about the farm.
Funeral services will be announced later by Hunter-Owen. Tentative arrangements have been made setting the funeral for Friday at Pleasant Grove Church. Burial will take place in the Bailey Cemetery.
Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, who was Miss Carrie Cummings; on son, Alva Jr.; one daughter, Carolyn; five sisters, Miss Annie Lee Bailey, Mrs. J.D. McCurry, Mrs. H.C. Emory, of Gainesville, and Misses Ella Lou, and Stella Bailey; one brother, Embrey Bailey.
Miss Mittie Embrey, LaGrange, is an aunt of the deceased.
