Funeral services for James Howard Armstrong, 73, of 820 N. Hedgecoke will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Gardner Street Church of Christ with Delbert McCloud, associate minister, officiating.

Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home.

Armstrong died at 12:30 p.m. Monday after suffering an apparent heart attack at Lake Meredith. He came to Borger from San Francisco, Calif., in 1959 after retiring from Southern Pacific Railroad Company.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Travis Anglin of Borger, Mrs. Fred Faulkner of Smackover, Ark., Mrs. Homer Tabor of Houston; one brother, G.L. Armstrong of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Poe of Wynnewood, Okla.; nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be Roy Elliott, Henry Morgan, A.E. Nix, Jerry Hale, Preston Morgan, Clifton McCloud.
