Mr. Lisonbee was born March 20, 1895 in Vernal to Alva Leonadis and Mary "R" Merrell Lisonbee. He married Rachel Ostergaard on Feb. 17,
1919 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and she died Oct. 22, 1926. He married Mary Leanore on Aug. 12, 1929 in Duchesne, and the marriage was solemnized later in the Salt Lake Temple.
Mr. Lisonbee received his education in Vernal schools, and he lived for many years in Bluebell, Uintah County. He then moved to Salt Lake City, and in 1962 moved to Orem. Active in the LDS Church, he
was the high priest supervisor in the 17th Ward. He and his
wife served a mission from 1959 to 1962 to the Indians in Gusher, Uintah County.
Survivors include his widow; two sons and three daughters, Clyde Lisonbee, Logan; R. G. Lisonbee, Providence, Cache County; Mrs. Ernest (Virginia) Winkler, Vernal; Mrs. Kenneth (Faye) Goodrich,
Orem; Mrs. Jack (Billie "L") Woods, Pleasant Grove; 27
grandchildren; 19 great - grandchildren: four brothers and three sisters, Shelby Lisonbee and Cliff Lisonbee, both of Salt Lake City; Merrell Lisonbee, Roosevelt; Lee Lisonbee, Mrs. Mary Bird, Mrs. James (Belle) Bird and Mrs. LaMont (Florence) Williams, all of Bluebell.
Friends may call at Berg Mortuary of Orem, 500 N. State St., Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the ward chapel prior to services. Burial will be in Bluebell Cemetery, where graveside rites will begin at 3 p.m. Friday.
