He was born on July 26, 1912 at Rover, AR to John and Ola Brown Breashears. He was the owner of a farm equipment business and a farmer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dardanelle.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Gladys Pelt Breashears; three brothers, Ted, Bobby and Ned Breashears and one sister, Sue Cox.
He is survived by: one daughter, Patsy Burris of Pensacola, F:; three grandchaildren, Robert Hays (Shannon) Burris of Little Rock, AR, Rebecca Burris and Sherry Beth (Victor) Thompson all of Pensacola, FL; two great-grandchildren, Merry Beth Josephine Thompson and Emma Leigh Victoria Thompson both of Pensacola, FL; three brothers, Bill Breashears of Dardanelle, AR, Leroy Breashears and Baxter Breashears both of Russellville, AR; tow sisters, Mary Hunt of Brigsville, AR and Jo Lofland of Little Rock, AR; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service was Feburary 19, 1999 at the Humphrey Chapel officiated by Rev. Joe Yates and Rev. Milton Cowling. Burial was at the Rest Haven Memorial Park at Russellville, AR.
