McKinney, Texas - Mrs. Peggy Thrasher, age 77, of McKinney, Texas passed away on December 9, 2004, in McKinney.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 12, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Joe Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
She was born on September 27, 1927, in Honey Grove, Texas to Ruie and Thelma Lee (Myers) Taylor. She married Jack Thrasher on March 27, 1946, in Sherman, Texas. Mrs. Thrasher retired from the American National Insurance where she was a cashier. She was a member of the Community Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Hendricks and husband, Rob of McKinney, Texas; son, Ronnie Thrasher and wife, Ann of Joplin, Missouri; and grandchildren, Amy Thrasher, Ryan Hendricks and Shelby Thrasher; and great grandchild, Jacen Thrasher.
Mrs. Thrasher was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Thrasher; granddaughter, Holly Ann Hendricks; parents; and sister, Betty Jo Jackson.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Saturday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
