Norma was born on July 12, 1937, in the town of Cedarville in Gilmer County, WV. Norma was the third daughter born to John Wiley and Mary (Bailey) Wiley. Norma was predeceased by Virginia Vanhorn and Geraldine Wiley. Norma is survived by sisters Nadean Jack of Sutton, WV, and Betty Nolan of Salem, OH.
Norma married Charles Barker in February 1959, and together they had five children. Charles passed away in August 1990. Norma and Charles had an infant son Brian Scott Barker who died in May 1966. Norma’s surviving children are Judy Ann Ruszkowski (Walter), Karen Renee Barker, and Michele Lynn Boynes, all of Weirton, WV, and Jeff Allen Barker of Sevierville, TN. Norma was blessed with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Grandchildren surviving are Dr. Kailey Littleton (Duane), Rachel Woods, Kellie Pethtel (Ross), Jeff “Skip” Boynes, Jarod Boynes, and Holly Davis. A grandson Anthony “Tony” Ruszkowski predeceased Norma in July 2011. Great grandchildren surviving are Toniann Ruszkowski, Matthew Littleton, Rena Littleton, Baby Littleton expected in February 2021, and Sofia Gray.
Burial will be in Cedarville Cemetery, Gilmer County, WV.
