Mr. Lewis Draper died on the morning of Dec 26 at his home in Hammondsport R.D. 1.

He had lived in Hammondsport for 30 years.

He was born on Oct 12, 1867 in Vermont, the son of Daniel Edward (DOB 1826 in NY) and Hulda Draper (DOB 1827 in NY).

He was survived by his wife, the former Della Atwood; and eight children, Jessie Draper of Grosse Springs, Mrs. Mary Sharman of Presho; Mrs. Mabel Staats of Hammondsport; William Draper of North Urbana; Mrs. Maude Snyder of Columbus OH; Mrs. Myrtle Little of NY, NY; Lewis S. Draper of Bath; and Mrs. Margaret Longwell of Grosse Springs.

On Thurs, the body was removed from the Bond Funeral home in Hammondsport to the residence where the funeral will be held on Fri at 3:30 pm. The Rev. Florence Perry, pastor of the Hammondsport Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery
