Marie was born July 21, 1927 in Athens County, Ohio to Charles and Eveth Mulpas. She was a graduate of Jacksonville-Trimble High School.
Surviving are daughters Deborah R. (John) Koons of Millfield, and Rhonda K. (Mike) Russell-Graham of Westerville; grandchildren, Tara L. (William) Sayre of Millfield, Beth A. (Shaun) Six of Millfield, Adam Christian (Crissy) Cullimore of Worthington, and Joshua Kenneth Russell-Seitz of Westerville; and great-grandchildren Tyler Sayre, Jayne Six, Lexy Kayla Cullimore, and Ace Adam Cullimore; sister Ethel Mae (Lloyd) Blackford of Heath; sisters-in-law, Shirley (George) Simons of Jacksonville, and Donna (Bill) Bobo of Millfield; brother-in-law Lawrence (Wilma) Russell of Chauncey; and several nieces and nephews.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth Russell who passed away on December 30, 2003; and brother Edward Mulpas.
Funeral services were held 1:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2009 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Deanna White officiating. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery in Glouster, Ohio.
