A retired employe of the General Electric plant in Dover, Mr. Grewell was born near Newcomerstown, a son of Elijah and Tacy Craigo Grewell.
He was a member of the UEB church in Dover. He was a veteran of World War I. He lived in Dover for 15 years.
Surviving are his wife, Rebekah Wadelin Grewell; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Marquand of Painsville; one son, Floyd of Dover; five grandchildren; a brother, John, of Newcomerstown; four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Ervin, Mrs. Anne Quillen and Mrs. Ruth Baumgardner, all of Newcomerstown; and Mrs. Laura Maloy of Los Angeles. A son and three brothers preceded him in death.
Services in the Meese funeral home at Dover will be conducted by Rev. Howard Knittle at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Bethel cemetery, near Stone Creek.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight and Monday from 2:30 to 4:30 and 7 to 9.
