Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca Harper were held this morning at 11 o'clock at the New Hope Church with the Rev. Henry Sears officiating. Burial was in the New Hope cemetery.
Mrs. Harper died at her home near Ambrose Wednesday morning after a four day illness.

She is survived by her husband, George Harper; one son, Jack Harper; four daughters, Mrs. Reynold Griffin, Mrs. Lucy Williams, Mrs. Edith Russ and Mrs. Mary Rawlins; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Stone and Mrs. Druscilla Harper; three brothers, Sam, Bob, and Elisha Merritt; also 17 grandchildren.

Douglas Undertaking Company was in charge of funeral arrangements.
