LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Charles Gary Allen, 55, were held Friday, March 9, 2007, in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. John Woods officiating. Burial followed in Carmona Cemetery in Carmona.
Mr. Allen died Sunday, March 4, in Houston.
He was born April 20, 1951 in Shreveport, La., the son of Charles Ray Allen and Francis Lockhart Allen. He served in the Marines during the Vietnam conflict. He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Allen of Livingston; son, Brandon Allen of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Ben Hancey of Dayton, Ohio; mother, Francis Lowe of Livingston; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Erma Allen of Livingston and Lonnie and Sheila Lowe of Livingston; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Danny Knighton of Livingston; sons and daughters-in-law, Clint and Laura Nickels of Houston and Brian and Hollie Nickels of Fremont, Neb. and grandchildren, Christian J. Allen, Ethan Hancey, Jazzmin Nickels, Jonathan Nickels, Alysa Nickels, Riley Nickels, Clara Hancey, Dillion Marchand and Xander Marchand.
