Mr. Benny H. Brown, 62, of Swifton died Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Newport.
He was born July 11, 1947 at Beedeville, the son of Kennith and Lydia (Ireland) Brown.
He was a United States Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. Mr. Brown enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant daughter, Lisa Ann Brown.
Mr. Brown is survived by one son, Clayton Stokes of Jonesboro; one brother, James L. Brown of Marion; and two sisters, Connie Adams of Swifton, and Joanne Bailey of Jonesboro.
Graveside memorial services were held at Eightmile Cemetery.
