She was born February 6, 1919 in Magna, Utah to Charles William and Harriet Mable Bone Millard.
Helena was married to Foster Merlen Kunz on June 18, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple by Apostle Harold B. Lee.
She was a member of the LDS Church and was a temple worker in the Washington, DC Temple for many years. Helena graduated from the University of Utah in 1941 with a degree in Education. She was affiliated with Delta Gamma Sorority and Delta Mu Honorary Music Sorority. She played saxophone with Intermountain Band School at Utah State College. Helena was a dedicated mother and grandmother.
Survived by: a daughter, Diane Kunz Smith (Chuck); sons, Gary Millard Kunz (Dianne), Blair Lee Kunz (Marco), and Milan Foster Kunz (Leslie); eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and husband.
