Cyrus B. Lloyd served as a Technician 5th Grade in Company E, 393rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, 99th Infantry Division, United States Army during World War II.

He was a son of George H. and Gertrude M. (Bosley) Lloyd.

He was killed in action in Belgium on January 30, 1945.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army on June 27, 1941 at New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.

He was originally from York County, Pennsylvania.

He was interred in the Gettysburg National Cemetery on November 17, 1947.
