Jackie E. Robinson McCoy, 73, of Hamilton, Ohio, formerly of Hanover, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at her residence.

She was born July 31, 1936, in Russell Springs, Ky., the daughter of William Thompson and Bonnie Lois Foley Robinson. She was a homemaker and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by two grandsons, Joshua Ross McCoy of Hamilton, Ohio, and William Robinson McCoy of Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Jessica McCoy and Megan McCoy; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. McCoy, whom she married April 19, 1957, and who died May 5, 2002; one son, William Robinson McCoy Sr.; her parents; two brothers, Holloman Robinson and Halsey Robinson; and seven sisters, Ruth Welch, Mary Parker, Julia Inlow, Evelyne Lynch, Jewel Gordley, Sandy Sachleben and Helen E. Donovan.

A graveside service and burial was at Hanover Cemetery.
