Frankie Faye Hurt Imken, 83, passed away in Round Rock, on March 7, 1999.
She was born in Guadalupe County in the Dewville-area. Faye was preceded in death by her husband Melva Imken, parents Frank and Bettie Hurt, brother Elton, Arthur, Lloyd and Charlie Hurt, sisters Lois Mergele and Avis Forshage.
She is survived by three sons, Gary of Austin, Ronald of Round Rock and Keith of Midland. Also survived by nine grandchildren.
Faye taught school in the Corpus Christi area for many years. She was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and of the First Baptist Church of Round Rock. She was also one of the founders of the Kingsbury Baptist Church.
Services will be held Thursday, March 11, 1999, at the First Baptist Church in Round Rock with interment to follow at the Kingsbury Cemetery at 2 p.m.
Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church of Round Rock, the South Texas Children's Home of Beeville of the charity of one's choice.
