LAMPASAS — Willie Alven Perry, 68, of Lampasas died Thursday, Feb. 11, in a Lampasas hospital.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with the Rev. Lance Sneath officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas with Masonic rites.

Mr. Perry was born on Aug. 6, 1941, to Charles Alven and Willie Jewel Grisham Perry in Hamilton. He graduated from Hamilton High School. On Dec. 17, 1977, he married Janice Gail Berry in Blueridge Community in Hamilton County. He was a dairyman, a rancher and a farmer. He was chosen as Star Young Farmer of Texas. He served as deacon of Central Christian Church in Lampasas. He was involved in FFA, a past member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, and a member of Saratoga Lodge No. 546.

Survivors include his wife of Lampasas; two daughters, Jana Lee Perry and Joni Gail Perry, both of Lampasas; and a sister, Jane Brown of Hamilton.

Visitation will follow burial at the fellowship hall of Central Christian Church.
