David Obediah Kimberling ran a cotton gin corn mill and country store near Clarkridge, Arkansas. After the death of Mary Emaline Kimberling 30 July 1911, he moved to Amagon, Arkansas (Jackson Co) where he ran a dredge boat, digging the big ditches to drain swamp lands. Here he met and married Charley Lulu Stansberry.
David 0. Kimberling died 13 Dec 1917 and was brought back to Clarkridge to be buried beside Mary Emaline in Thacker Cemetery.
