Services for Mrs Nellie Grace Alton, 67, were held Saturday at the Methodist Church of Seiling with the Rev Adam Ralston officiating. Burial was in the Riley Cemetery.
Mrs Alton was the wife of Arthur Alton and the mother of Mrs Gladys Mitchell and Mrs Hazel Horner, all of Norman.
Born June 23, 1886, in Kechi, Kan., she lived as a youngster in Woodward County and she and her husband farmed in the Seiling community until 1964. She was a member of the United Brethren Church in the Mutual community.
Survivors also include two other daughters, Mrs Bessie Reed, Black Canyon City, Ariz., and Mrs Opal Roy, Phoenix, Ariz; three brothers, Jessie Marrison, Bonham, Tex., John Marrison, of Leedy, and David Marrison, Bristow; three sisters, Mrs Mary Ellen Edwards, Alva, Mrs Edith Anderson, Duncan, and Mrs Zella Byrd, Van Buren, Ark.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
