Edith E Sutherland, 89, of Superior, died Friday March 13, 2009, at Golden Living Center, Superior. She was born March 11, 1920, in Falun, WI, daughter of Evald and Hilda Erickson.
Edith worked many years as a waitress for Cronstrom's.
She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
Some of her many interests including spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Daniel A Sutherland in 1986; a brother; two sisters; three half-brothers; and five half-sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Carl) Day, Foxboro; son, Doug (Kriss) Sutherland, Duluth; five grandchildren, Dan Day, Tami (Val) Melgeorge, Kari (Sean) Anderson, Farmington, MN, Jaclyn Sutherland, Farmington, MN, and Jessica (Daniel) Lewis, San Clemente, CA; and six great-grandchildren, Hailee Melgeorge, Andrew Malgeorge, Katie Anderson, Lars Anderson, Scott Lewis and Nicolas Lewis.
Pallbearers will be Carl Day, Dan Day, Sean Anderson, Val Melgeorge, Donald Lisdahl and James Sutherland. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
