A.G. Miller's obit in the Oroville Daily Register, Oroville, Ca. on Tuesday, November 20, 1906 and reads: "LAST SUMMONS COMES TO PIONEER. Mr. A. G. Miller dies at the home of his daughter in this city, Came around the horn in 1852. Yesterday afternoon, Mr. A. G. Miller, one of the pioneers of the State died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Darnielle, in this city. Mr. Miller had been severly ill for some time. He was enfeebled on account of old age, and it was feared from the first that he would not be able to withstand the onslaughts of disease. Mr. Miller came to California around the Horn in 1852. He resided first in Sierra County, and later removed to Camptonville, in Yuba County, and still later to Gridley, where he purchased a livery business. He leaves five children to mourn his death-- Mrs. W. T. Baldwin, of Oroville, Mrs. George Brown, of Gridley, Mrs. Darneille, of Oroville, Mr. A. V. Miller, and Mr. Homer Miller, both of Wyandotte. No arrangements for the funeral have as yet been made."

A.G. Miller was married first to Elizabeth Birmingham from Australia, and second to Carolyn Crocker of Illinois.
