MURRAY, Neil 88, passed away on September 3, 2009. Originally from Johnson City, NY, he was a 1940 graduate of St. Andrews High School in Saginaw, Michigan. Neil was a World War II veteran serving in the Pacific Theater with the Seabees. After the war he and his wife settled in Rochester NY where they raised their five children. Retiring from Eastman Kodak in 1980, after 34 years of service, they moved to Naples, FL where he was an active member of VFW Post 7721. He relocated to Ocala, FL in 2007. Proceeded in death by his wife of 65 years, Lorraine Sova Murray; father, Neil Murray; mother, Rose Burns Murray; brothers, George and John Richard Murray; daughter, Nancy Meagher; and granddaughter, Lynn Hoyt. Survived by children, Joanne (Richard) Psyk, Susan (Mark) Siebold, Kay (Gary) Hoyt, and Ken Murray; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, other family members and dear friends. Tridentine Mass to be to be said at the convenience of the family. Internment at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl. December 29, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the Hospice House of Marion County c/o PO Box 4860 Ocala Fl. 34478.
