LEFT HAND - Lawrence Truman, 76, of Left Hand, Roane County, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 1988, at home after a long illness.
He was a retired farmer and construction worker.
Surviving: wife, Oma Deweese Truman; sons, Sonny of Spencer, Harry and James, of Left Hand; daughters, Nellie Butler of Mentor, Ohio, Gladys McQuain of Tariff, Oeta Miller of Spencer, Delores Siers of Parkersburg; sisters, Evelyn Simons of Spencer, Janivee Matheny of Akron, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sinnett Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. J. Herbert Smith Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Clover Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
