Mary was one of twelve children of Karl Chris & Caroline Louise (Mannschreck) Wagner. Both her parents emmigrated from Strumpfelbach Germany. They later met up again and married in Nebraska. Mary married Carl Fisk, who came from Burlington, IA and was raised by his Uncle David & Sara(Trulock) Reed after his mother died. David Reed homesteaded the farm. Carl & Mary raised their family near Burr, NE. They had seven children and she lived on the farm until health forced her to the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse until her death at age 87.
