On Friday, January 25, 1985, Cora S Clanton, beloved wife of the late Ananias Clanton. Daughter of the late Willie and Jane Stevenson. She served as a Nurse in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Devens, Massachusetts. Surviving are a devoted foster-mother Mrs. Rosa Ingram, two cousins James Shadd and Grace Woodley, nephew George Clanton,other relatives and friends. From 6 to 9 p.m Monday, January 28, the family will receive friends at the John T. Rhines Co. Funeral Home 3015 12th Street N.E. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 29, at 11 am at the Capitol Hill United Methodist Church, 421 Seward Sq. SE Rev Edward Bradley Lewis officiating.
