Mrs. Catherine HEIDLEBAUGH aged eighty one years died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Wm COLE on Berlin St. Wed, morning. Her death was due to dropsy and other diseases indigent to old age says the Galion Leader. She had been ill for some length of time and for the past several weeks had been confined to her bed. Services will be held from the COLE home.
Catherine SPRANGLE was born in York County, Penn. Sept. 3,1833 and married to Emanuel HEIDLEBAUGH when seventeen years of age. In 1878 the couple removed to Galion where Mr. HEIDLEBAUGH was occupied as a millwright. Eight children were born to the union, all of whom survive the mother`s death, the husband having passed away abt twenty two years ago. The children are EDWARD and WILLIAM of Des Moines, Ia, Mrs Maurice JONES, Mrs. A.G. CURTIS of North Baltimore, Ohio, Mrs. EMERSON-COLE, of Galion, Mrs. Agnes FEIGHT and Charles Henry of Crestline, Ohio. There are also two brothers and several sisters remaining to mourn her death.
