Maude Dickson Kendrick, age 99, of Rockwood, TN died February 10, 2010 at the Renaissance Terrace in Harriman, TN. Mrs. Kendrick was born June 18, 1910 in Rockwood, TN to John Thomas and Jennie May Millican Dickson. She was a member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Rockwood where she served as organist for 55 years and also as choir director. Mrs. Kendrick attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she majored in music. She taught individual piano lessons for many years. Mrs. Kendrick was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Onius Kendrick; and sisters, Ruby Ragle, Blanche Bell, Rose Carter, Genevieve Snow, Johnnie May Parrish, Marjory Collette and Emily Knight.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Evans Mortuary, Rockwood. Graveside service and interment will follow in the Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood with Rev. Kara Foster officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Organ Fund at First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, P. O. Box 45, Rockwood, TN 37854.
