passed away Sept. 25, 2008 at Golden Age
Nursing Home in Denham Springs at the age of 83.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Sam 'Sonny' and Brandi French; sisters, Tressie McFall, Devonna Stephens, Virginia McFall,Alice Moore and Opal Leslie; brother, Willis Hicks; grandchildren, Jennifer French, Janet French, Johnny French, James French, Christie Webre Anglin, Judy Webre Chaisson, Ian Lombardo, Alexis Lomcardo, Mary Zucher, Samuel French Jr., Zachary French and Nicholas French; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucien Alexander French; parents, James and Flossie Hicks; daughters, Donna French Webre and Jerry French Lombardo; son, John Lucien French; and a brother, Leon Hicks.

Memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
