ODESSA Paul Thomas Sibert, age 70, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at his home in Odessa.
He was born Aug. 15, 1939, in Hollywood, California, to Theodore Charles Sibert and Mae Agnes Swank. After 20 years of military service, Paul retired from the U.S. Air Force where he worked as a Jet Engine Technician.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bob Sibert and Donald Sibert; and his daughter, Susan Sibert.
He is survived by his longtime caretaker and best friend, Fredia Shook of Odessa, and his brother, Richard Sibert of Palo Alto, California.
Visitation with the family will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dave Adkins of Circle J Cowboy Church officiating.
Graveside services with Military Honors will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
