She was born December 11, 1921 in Sylvester, Georgia to John Preston and Binnie Zell Downs Walker.
She had been a resident of Charlton County since 1942. She was a loving, dedicated Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was an excellent cook and also loved plants and flowers. Mrs. Lois was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her husband: Rev. Harold Guinn of Folkston; Three Sons: Harold Gary Guinn, Sr. (Peggy) of Waycross; Ronald Lee Guinn, Sr. (Iris) of Florida; Larry Alton Guinn, Sr. (Cleone) of Cornelia, Georgia; Two Daughters: Bonnie Yvonne Guinn of Folkston; Glenda Faye Guinn of Blackshear, Georgia; 16 Grandchildren; 28 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great-great-grandchild and many other relatives and friends. Pallbearers: Larry Guinn, Jr., Ronald Guinn, Jr., Timothy Varnes, Brian Varnes, Kenneth Davis and Daniel Davis.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 06, 2011 at the funeral home from 6 until 8 PM.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Huling officiating.
