Navigator with the 376th Bomb Wing, U.S. Air Force. Killed in the crash of the his B-47 Stratojet bomber while refueling over western New York state. The B-47 was tail No. 52-470, the first of a series of of 38 aircraft in the run called B-47E-90-BW. The jet crashed after an inflight explosion near North Collins, New York Apr 10, 1958. Four crewmen were killed.
