Keith Arvine Harrison passed away Feb. 6, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 22, 1922 in Vernal, Utah, son of William Duke and Flora Marie Harrison.

He married Mary Earleen Longson on May 10, 1953. He later took his sweetheart to be sealed in the Oakland Temple on March 6, 1970.

Keith is preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Earleen, both parents, four brothers; Orland, Don, Ervine and Buck, three sisters, Lila, Alva, Vana, two grandchildren, Duncan Young and Kelly Ray. He is survived by his children, Earl Harrison of Vernal, Utah; Grace Clayton of American Fork, Utah; Faye (Roger) Beets of Ballard, Utah; Dorothy Harrison of Ariz.; Larry Harrison of Vernal, Utah; 26 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Keith served in WWII and then later became 1st Jr. Vice Commander of the D.A.V. The Disable American Vets were the love of his life and he did all he could to serve them. He lived in Orville, Calif. for many years where he coached Young Mans Baseball before bringing his family back to Vernal.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Naples Chapel (2313 South 1500 East). Friends and family may call Wed. from 6–8 p.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Interment will take place in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Military Rites will be presented by the Army National Guard and the American Legion Post 124 & 11.
