Mrs. Nancy Perkins.

Mrs. Nancy Perkins, widow of Mark Perkins who died in this county thirty-six years ago, died from old age at the home of her son, George W. Perkins, in West Washington at ?:40 Monday. Mrs. Perkins suffered a slight paralytic stroke severa weeks ago, her advanced years preventing a recovery from the attack.

Mrs. Perkins was born in Barr township, this county, in June, 1828, being nearly eighty years of age. She was the daughter of William Smith and early settler of the county. She was married to Mark Perkins fifty-nine years ago. Nine children were born to the union. Six survive: Elisha Perkins of Arkansas; George W. Perkins of West Washington; Colombus Perkins of Swiss City; Reuben Perkins of Reeve township; Mrs. Martha Allen of Van Buren township, and Mrs. Sarah Allen of this city.
