90, of Twin Falls, died Monday, Dec. 27, 1999, at Cenoma House in Twin Falls. He was born Dec. 28, 1908, in Mankato, Jewell County, Kansas, the son of Fred and Anna Wollett Diamond. When he was 16 years of age, he moved to Fort Collins, Colo., where he lived for a year, then moved to Twin Falls in 1928. In 1930, he moved to Port Angeles, Wash. He returned to Twin Falls in 1932, and was married to Marjorie C. Flowerdew on June 11th. Mr. Diamond worked for Detweiler Construction from 1940 to 1955. He then started Diamond Welding, retiring in 1971. He continued to weld at his home, until ill health forced him to move two and a half years ago. He was a member of the Twin Falls Lodge #45 A.F. & A.M., a life member of the Twin Falls Lodge #1183 B.P.O.E., and a past member of the Junior Chamber during World War II. Mr. Diamond is survived by his wife, Marjorie of Twin Falls; and one brother, Gail Diamond of Spanaway, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. Graveside services for Richard Henry Diamond will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at Twin Falls Cemetery with Fraternal Rites by the Twin Falls Lodge #45 A.F. & A.M. Friends may call at White Mortuary from 4-8 p.m. today.
