MRS. PETER KNOPF, RETIRED SOLOIST, IS DEAD AT 82. Mrs. Peter C. Knopf, 82, a retired professional soloist, who had sung with several church choirs in Louisville, died at 10:10 a.m. Saturday at Kentucky Baptist Hospital. Mrs. Knopf, who lived at 168 Vernon Ave., was the former Lillian VonSchluetter. She was a native of Chicago, IL. She was a member of Beargrass Christian Church, and a charter member of the Crescent Hill Woman's Club. Mrs. Knopf was also a member of the MacDowell Music Club, the Louisville City Club, American Turners, and the Republican Civic Women's Club. Survivors include a son, Daniel P. Knopf Sr.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow at Pearson's, 149 Breckinridge Lane, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of gifts to Kosair Crippled Children Hospital.
