Mr. Worthington was born March 3, 1874, in Payson, Utah. A son of Samuel and Mary Wilson Worthington. He had lived in Ogden for the past year and a half.
Prior to coming to Ogden, he resided in Boise, Idaho, and served in the Bishopric of the L.D.S. Boise First ward for 14 years.
He was a city councilman from 1927 to 1935. He organized the Idaho Cosl Dealers Association of the Western Federation of Coal Dealers and was its first president.
