Miss Cochran was married to Lewis A. Reynolds in 1885. To this union were born four children: Della Maud, Lena, Earl and William A. The family moved from the farm to Nelson in 1903, where they resided until 1917.
Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds moved to Staplehurst, Nebraska, where they lived until Mr. Reynolds passed away in 1942. Since that time Mrs. Reynolds has made her home with her children.
Mrs. Reynolds passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wade Thomas of Gering, Sunday, January 11th, 1948, at the age of 83 years and 5 months. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mrs. Alonzo Burd, and her husband, Lewis A. Reynolds.
She leaves to mourn her death, her daughter, Mrs. Wade Thomas of Gering, a son Earl of Los Angeles, Calif., and William A. of Gering; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church of Staplehurst, and so long as she was able took an active part in church work.
Mrs. Reynolds was a devoted wife and mother. Her home and family were her chief interests in life.
Funeral services were held at the Klawitter Chapel Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. C.V. Powell conducted the service and was assisted by Mrs. Powell. A quartet - Vivian Cole, Mrs. Claude Flower, Mrs. Verna Peery and Helen Peery, with Mrs. H.A. Brubaker at the piano, furnished the music. Interment in the Nelson cemetery (sic).
