Moweaqua, April 28--Samuel Riley, aged ninety died at 4 oclock Monday morning at the home of his grandson, Tom Riley, where he has been making his home. He had been bed fast for a year and had been blind for two years. He was the last one of his family. His wife, who was formerly Eliza Daughterty, died ten years ago and his only son, James died seven years ago.
Mr. Riley was born at Mulberry Grove, Ill, but spent most of his life at Moweaqua. He was a member of the Methodist church. The funeral will be held at the Methodist church at 1 oclock Tuesday afternoon.
