Mary R. Leach, 86; of Sellersburg
Funeral services for Mary R. Leach, 86, of Sellersburg, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery. She died Monday, May 18, 2009, at Maple Manor, Sellersburg.
She was a 1939 graduate of Charlestown High School, a member of Sellersburg Church of Christ, a member of Clark County Extension Homemakers and a former custodian at Silver Creek Middle School.
Survivors include her son, Henry Noble Leach Jr., of Grove City, Ohio; daughters, Bette Broady, of Sellersburg, and Ruth Daily, of Apopka, Fla.; sister, Louise Dorman, of Sellersburg; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Noble Leach.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Maple Manor Christian Home or Sellersburg Church of Christ.
