Edward was born September 10, 1707 in Beverly to Edward Trask (son of the immigrant, Osmond, with his second wife, Elizabeth Galley) and Mercy Elliot (daughter of Andrew Elliot II and granddaughter of Andrew Elliot I, both of which immigrated to Massachusetts from East Coker, Somerset, England with Osmond Trask). Abigail Lovett was born August 28, 1709 in Beverly to John Lovett III and Mary Pride.
