Buice, Rev. George W. --of 1311 Brown Bridge Rd., Gainesville, died Aug. 21 at 12:30 p.m. He was 51 years old and was born in Forsyth County Ga. He died in the local hospital in Gainesville. Funeral service will be held Sunday, Aug. 22 at 3:30, from the Emanuel Baptist Church with Rev. W. J. Jordan and Rev. D. T. Buice officiating. Rev. Buice was a Mason and pastor of the Harmony Baptist Church in Banks County. Surviving are his wife-Mrs. Ada Garrett Buice, of Gainesville; 3 sons-Rudolph Buice, I. Bonnie Buice, Virgal Vyanous Buice of Gainesville; his mother, Mrs. R. G. Buice, of Cumming, Ga.; his brothers, N. S. Buice, of Barnesville; S. E. Buice, Sewanee; Abraham Buice, Rochelle, Rev. R. Lee Buice, Marietta; Paul R. Buice, Norcross; T. Carl Buice, Buford; E. E. Buice, Cumming; E. Luther Buice, of Rossville; sisters, Mrs. C. E. Stonecypher, of Eastman, Ga.; Mrs. Homer J. Light, of Flowery Branch, Ga.; and 3 grandchildren. The brothers will serve as active pallbearers and the deacons of the Harmony Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
