Christa Nell Brown, 85, of Culpeper, VA formerly of Boone County died February 7, 2010 at her home.
She was born March 9, 1924 and was a daughter of the late Morgan and Lora Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Harold" Brown; son, David Edward Brown; sisters, Icie Buckley, Melfa Estep and Bonnie Lorrison.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Hall of Asheville, NC; one brother, Howard Keith Brown of Beckley; four grandchildren, Lori Garrett, Linda Hatton, Jeff Brown and Daniel Brown; three great-grandchildren, Madeline and Sophie Hatton and Cameron Brown.
Services will be 11 a.m. on Friday, February 12 at Madison Church of God, Danville with Stacey Dingess officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
